We are seeking to hire an HVAC Technician for our thriving company. Our ideal HVAC Technician would be a self-starter with great communication skills and an awesome team player!

What You’ll Do

  • This position involves utilizing company-provided vehicles and tools, as well as running service calls solo. Because of this, we do require that you have a clean driving record and an active Connecticut HVAC license
  • Our HVAC Technicians perform ONLY residential work; no commercial work whatsoever
  • Our residential service calls involve maintenance tune-ups, diagnosing client issues, and performing any necessary repairs or replacements
  • We do have an on-call weekly rotation between technicians, so being able to accept new emergency calls up until 8pm is required if you are scheduled for that week

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut HVAC license (S, D, or B required)
  • Ability to competently maintain, diagnose & repair residential HVAC systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Interest in being part of a productive & motivated team
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Adequate personal tools

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • 4 or more years of experience in residential HVAC service
  • EPA License

Physical Demands of the Work Environment:

  • Climbing up and down ladders or stairs from time to time
  • Moderate lifting may be required (15-20) pounds
  • Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Exposure to extreme heat or cold may be required when working in the field
  • Dress code is required; uniforms are provided & laundered by us

Position Overview:

We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Lead Bookkeeper to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. As a Lead Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our company and guiding our financial decisions. This position reports directly to the General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and oversee all accounting procedures and processes.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Reconcile sales taxes, payroll taxes, 401k, and bank accounts at the end of each month.
  • Monitor financial transactions and reports.
  • Process accounts receivable and payable.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.
  • Coordinate with the accounting department to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Help manage company budget to maximize revenue and identify potential areas of cost savings.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP principles.
  • Liaise with our General Manager and accountant to improve financial procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Excellent knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting procedures.
  • Competency in MS Office, databases, and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  • Associate’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; further certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and multitask.
